On Tuesday, September 20th 2016, the museum hosted an event dedicated to children: the theater show “The Legend of Bucur”, performed by Artextract Association. On its second show at the Suțu Palace, the play tells the story of the shepherd Bucur and young lady Dâmbovița, a story associated with the founding of Bucharest. The innitiative is part of the Bucharest Municipality Museum’s strategy to familiarize children with cultural institutions and thus form future generations of public that are culturally-aware, informed and eager to develop and learn more.
Approximately 120 people, both adults and children, attended the event.
