The opening of the fourth edition of the “Comic Strips Salon – Tales of Bucharest in Comic Strips” took place on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, in the attic of the Filipescu-Cesianu House.
From June 7th to August 31st 2017, the Salon’s guests discovered Bucharest of yesterday and today, seen through the eyes of students from the American International School of Bucharest, the National Bilingual College “George Coșbuc” and the Theoretic College “Ștefan Odobleja” in Bucharest. Guided by their art teachers, the students took part in the “Tales of Bucharest in Comic Strips” contest and the best works were selected for the exhibition remained in the collection of the Bucharest Municipality Museum.
During this event there were also comic strip workshops, drawing, presentations of magazine and recent albums of Romanian comic strips.
