During January – July 2017, The Bucharest Municipality Museum benefited of the enthusiastic work of 81 volunteers who took part in events such as A Different School and The Museums’ Night, as follows:
- Internship students: 60 people – the Faculty of Letters, BA and MA degrees, Ethnology and European Studies course; the Faculty of History: 13 students;
- Individually signed-up volunteers: 8 people
The museum’s collaboration with volunteers is a strategy implemented during the last three years by the current management team. The volunteers took part in the museum’s specialized activities, as well as in activities dedicated to the public (two positive such examples are A Different School and The Museums’ Night projects, supported each year by a large number of volunteers).
