#FIND US – BEYOND THE CAMERA

An exhibition dedicated to the phographers victims of the fire in Colectiv club.

During December 2015 – January 2016 the Bucharest Municipality Museum and ARCUB Gabroveni are hosting the #find_us photography exhibition at their locations in the Filipescu-Cesianu House, 151 Victoriei Street, respectively on 84-90 Lipscani Street.

The opening of this new exhibition in the #find_us project, Remember Goodby to Gravity, takes place on Tuesday, December 22nd 2015, at 19:00.

Goodbye to Gravity was a metalcore band from Bucharest, founded in 2011, whose members were: Andrei Găluț (vocals), Alex Pascu (bass), Bogdan Lavinius Enache (drums), Vlad Țelea and Mihai Alexandru (guitars). The four instrument players had had a previous band, Thudenrstorm. They were joined by singer Andrei Găluț from Arad, the winner of 2008 “Megastar” TV show. Their debut album, called “Goodbye to Gravity” was launched in 2012 and was voted “Best metal album of 2012”. During its four years of existence, Goodbye to Gravity launched two albums and played on stage together with worldwide famous bands such Rammstein, Testament, Kreator, Arch Enemy and many others.

We welcome you in the Lapidarium Room of the Filipescu-Cesianu House, a space belonging to the Bucharest Municipality Museum, where 50 images are on display showing Goodbye to Gravity at their various concerts throughout time. The pictures belong to the photographers who died in Colectiv as well as to the homogeneous group of photographers that they were part of.

The exhibition Remember Goodbye to Gravity will be open for visitors between December 22nd 2015 – January 31st 2016.

Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 – 18:00

On December 25th – 27th 2015 and January 1st – 3rd 2016 the exhibition is closed.

 

The concert photographs are exhibited at ARCUB Gabroveni until January 28th 2016.

Monday – Thursday, 14:00 – 22:00

Frinday – Sunday. 12:00 – 22:00

From December 24th 2015 to January 3rd 2016 the exhibition is closed.
