5 HIGH SCHOOLS – 5 MUSEUMS (2016)
5 Licee – 5 Muzee este un proiect educaţional dedicat elevilor de liceu, prin care se încurajează participarea tinerilor la manifestări culturale.
5 High schools – 5 Museums is an educational project dedicated to high school students, through which students are encouraged to actively take part in cultural manifestations.
The project aimed to involve students in a campaign to visit museums, under the form of a contest between 5 of the Capital’s high schools. Launched in 2008, the project has had a positive impact on both students and teachers. The organisers along with the partners were thus encouraged to continue the project.
DRAWING THE PATRIMONY (2015)
The project “Drawing the patrimony” aimed to promote the cultural material patrimony through the development of the public’s creative abilities, no matter the age category.
Drawing the patrimony took place between September and November 2015 and was initiated by the Sinaptica Association in partnership with the First Cultural Foundation, Global Mindscape, the Excellency through Culture Association and the Sălaj County Centre for Culture and Art. The activities in Bucharest took place with the support of The Bucharest Municipality Museum. The project was co-financed by the National Cultural Funds Administration.
NEIGHBOURHOOD HISTORIES (2015)
Between September 2015 and November 2015, the project coordinated by the Bucharest Municipality Museum and co-financed by the National Cultural Funds Administration proposed the valuing of a place’s memory through stories, photographs and maps which would provide certain key points useful to track the evolution of Bucharest’s southern side (today Berceni neighbourhood), from the beginning of the 18th century to the present day.
THE “MARTHA BIBESCU 130” CULTURAL YEAR
The project the “Martha Bibescu 130 Cultural Year” project was inaugurated at the Filipescu-Cesianu House, on the occasion of the “National Day of Culture” on January 15th 2016.
The project was created by the Istoria Artei Association in collaboration with The Bucharest Municipality Museum, as well as other partners: the National Archives of Romania, the Mogoşoaia Brancovenian Palaces Cultural Centre, the National Library of Romania, the Carmen Sylva Cultural Centre of Sinaia, and was funded by the Ministry of Culture through the program dedicated to the National Day of Culture 2016.
THE CULTURAL-EDUCATIONAL PROJECT CLASS AT THE MUSEUM (2016)
The project Class at the museum represents a continuation of the 2015 initiative, the project Museum Patrimony – A tool for learning, organised by Global Mindscape, The ASTRA Sibiu Museum Complex and the Institute for Education Sciences, as well as the project The Caravan of Museums, which this year will have its 5th edition.
MUSEUM PATRIMONY – A TOOL FOR LEARNING (2015)
The Bucharest Municipality Museum was a partner for the cultural and educational project titled Museum Patrimony – A tool for learning, which took place in collaboration with Global Mindscape, The ASTRA Sibiu Museum Complex and the Institute for Education Sciences. The project took place between October and November 2015 and was co-financed by the National Cultural Funds Administration. It came as a completing extension to the project “The Caravan of Museums”, continuing the efforts to present the field of museums to children.
